Data deletion

1. If you are a Dona customer or a user of its CRM

Write to privacy@joindona.com from the email address of your account, with the subject "Delete my data" and the name of your business. You can also cancel the Service from your account: cancellation starts the same process.

We will confirm receipt, verify that the request comes from the account holder, and delete the account and all the data of the business from our active systems within 30 days, after a 30-day window in which you can ask for an export. Backups rotate within 30 days after that.

If you connected a WhatsApp Business account, a Facebook page or another platform to Dona, disconnecting the channel from the CRM stops any further processing; the request above also deletes the data we received from that platform. You can also remove Dona from the connected apps in your Meta Business settings.

2. If you messaged or called a business that uses Dona

The business you contacted is the controller of your data, and Dona processes it on its behalf. The fastest way is to ask the business directly: it can delete your contact and conversations from its CRM at any time.

You can also write to privacy@joindona.com from the phone number or email address you used, telling us which business you contacted. We will verify the request, delete your data from that business's account within 30 days, and inform the business, as its processor.

3. What we keep

Invoices and payment records, for as long as accounting and tax rules require.

Audit log entries, for 1 year, for security and fraud prevention.

Anything we must keep to comply with a legal obligation or an order from a competent authority.

What we keep is no longer used for any other purpose and is deleted when the retention period ends. We will send you a confirmation when the deletion is complete.
